FOCUS GRANT:
MATH ENRICHMENT CENTERS
The grant will fund the purchase and outfitting of Mobile Mathematic Enrichment Centers for each classroom of the sponsoring teachers. The purpose of each center is to provide a challenging and enriching mathematical experience to students, beyond their regular mathematics program, by means of activities, problem solving and games.
Each Mobile Mathematical Enrichment Center will consist of a mobile cart with room for a variety of enrichment resources. Sponsors will choose games, books with reproducible materials, and other materials suitable and appropriate for their classroom needs. Sponsors envision these carts to become an integral part of the class curriculum.
The Sponsor would like to purchase: Carts, Filing Supplies, Roll Laminate, Plastic Sleeves, Dry Erase Markers, Books, Games and Miscellaneous Resource Materials.
